What age children can enter the competition?
Children aged 8 to 13 can enter the competition.
What do the teachers need to do?
Organise children to write their stories.
Use the teaching materials in their class if they wish to.
Choose their best three stories and post them to Hooked on Books at:

What is the Literacy Pack?
Details of the literacy pack will be provided in about a week's time - watch this space!
The Mokee Joe Literacy Pack will be available for download from Monday 2nd June 2008. This will allow time for summer planning and preparation.

When can we buy the Mokee Joe books?
The Mokee Joe books can ordered at any time after registration via our website. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery, & then you can start reading right away!
How many children can use the material?
The Literacy Packs can be photocopied any number of times for use within your school.

Literacy advisors, English teachers, librarians, and other experienced educators.
